- The accelerator has been designed to attract startup talent to Ireland, nurture indigenous talent, and to increase collaboration across the national sustainability ecosystem. Our goal is to create a national sustainability accelerator and position Ireland as a leading sustainability innovation platform within Europe. The aim of having an open call for accelerator applicants is so we can identify the maximum number of startups in Ireland, the wider EU and internationally that have the potential to create positive environmental and economic outcomes. This is also in acknowledgement of the partial funding of this programme by Coillte and ESB - commercial semi-State bodies. The late stage non-equity accelerator programme runs from 3rd March 2025 to 16th May 2025, with three of those weeks, known as ‘core weeks-, being held onsite in Dogpatch Labs in Dublin with scheduled workshops, presentations and mentoring from experienced sustainability mentors and leaders in the sustainability sector. Through our industry partners, Coillte, ESB and Kerry, successful applicant startups can get access to: Expertise from within these companies on topics relating to agriculture, energy and forestry. Expert feedback on their proposition and business model. Potential access to sustainability assets - e.g. dairy farms, wind turbines and forestry sites.
