- Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) has bridges that require a Principal Engineering Inspection (PEI) every 6 years. IÉ is seeking competitive tenders from suitably experienced, certified and fully resourced contractors, (the Contractor) to undertake facilitation of bridge access inspection works in the form of a variety of Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (MEWPS). The MEWP Access Inspections are planned for a number of bridge assets where normal access is prohibitive and will require suitable and safe traffic management. The successful Contractor must be able to supply appropriately qualified personnel to undertake the operation of the MEWPs and to prepare and implement appropriate site-specific traffic management plans.
