- Description:
- This tender relates to the delivery of specified advanced manufacturing training across a number of discipline specific modules of learning. The training will take place face to face. This delivery of training is required at two locations at FIT's LTI in Ballina, Co. Mayo and FIT's LTI in Dunshaughlin Co. Mayo. Proposals will be accepted to cover one or both sites. The training will include tutor delivery of three QQI, Quality and Qualifications Ireland, Common Award modules and one City and Guilds, module. Specific modular details can be found on the QQI and City and Guilds website. All required module codes are as noted. QQI modules; Functional Math's 4N2138; Electronics 4N1290; Continuous Improvement in Manufacturing 5N1915; City and Guilds: Control Systems R 503 0431. Tender costing must take account of the following: Module assessment and documentation to be provided at the outset of delivery, The tutor will be required to devise module delivery notes, Costing should include provision for the grading of Learner' assessments, Costing should include adequate time for the completion of QA documentation. Tutor knowledge and experience should include a significant track record delivering training in an advanced manufacturing context, use of contemporary advanced manufacturing equipment, knowledge of automation and at a minimum a pedagogic educational qualification such as NFQ L6 Train the Trainer. Some experience of training delivery in a community setting would be desirable
