Description:
National Primary Care Strategy and HSE Procurement intend to establish an authorisation scheme to secure suitable suppliers located in Ireland to meet the requirements of patients to access community ultrasound through their general practitioners, which includes the provision of ultrasound examinations in approved provider locations of a patient's choice and the ultrasound services to support hospital GP waiting lists programme (the “Scheme”). This Authorisation Scheme is separated into 2 lots as follows: -Lot 1: Patient Access to Community Ultrasound through General Practitioners -Lot 2: Ultrasound Services to Support Hospital GP Waiting Lists. The services will be delivered using service providers- equipment with radiologists, and radiographer sonographers provided by the service provider completing exams and reporting back to the referring GP - as per the Specification of Requirements document
