• Description:
• The selected contractor shall provide a litter collection, recycling service and cleaning of designated areas on the Campus according to the schedule as set out below on a full-time basis. These works will be carried out under the direction of the Buildings and Estates Department. Schedule of services: Tender for Provision of Campus Cleaning and Recycling Collection Service, these items include but are not restricted to. • A managed waste service to align the global waste on Campus so that it reflects the University Green Flag position. • A seven day a week service. • The supply maintenance and operation of vehicles to maintain this contract. • Ensure that waste compounds and compactor areas are kept waste free and clean at all times. • Campus roads, paths and bike paths to be swept and kept clean. • Carparks to be kept clean and maintained to a high standard. • Plazas steps and all courtyards to be cleaned. • Living bridge to be cleaned. • Power washing requirements. • Signage to be cleaned. • Out-door bins to be cleaned and serviced each quarter. • Bollards to be cleaned. • Bike shelters to be kept clean and power washed. • Bus shelters to be cleaned and power washed. • Light post and lamp standards to be cleaned. • Salting and de-icing when required. • Ramp up support for Campus led events such as conferring and Ministerial / Official visits. • Emergency road spillage clean ups. • Clea-up operation after emergency action plan implementation.
