- Tenders are invited to deliver three bespoke community forest training programmes in County Cavan. This proposal is for the delivery of three separate programmes in three different locations in County Cavan. The training would incorporate a series of classroom sessions in the spring, then would include a series of hands on workshops at three different demonstration sites in the autumn, native tree and shrub planting early winter and a follow up care workshop in spring next year. Each participant community group would be provided with all materials to create and care for their community forest. The objectives of this community forest training programme are to upskill 20 to 30 communities or 50 plus individuals, across County Cavan, to enhance the biodiversity on their community spaces by developing a small community forest in a site which is accessible to the community.
