Description:
Kildare County Council intends to initiate a Competitive Dialogue procurement process to identify and engage with developers and landowners capable of delivering housing schemes across County Kildare. This PIN serves to inform the market of the Council-s intention and to facilitate early engagement and awareness. Scope of the Upcoming Tender The forthcoming tender will seek proposals for housing development on sites that meet the following criteria: •Located within towns or settlements across County Kildare with demonstrable housing need •Sites must have full planning permission in place •Proposals may include: oConstruction of new housing units on undeveloped sites (5+ units) oCompletion of partially built housing schemes (5+ units) Funding Mechanism All proposals will be subject to capital appraisal and approval by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, in line with existing public funding mechanisms for social housing delivery. Estimated Timeline •Publication of Tender Documents: November 2025 •Deadline for Submissions: December 2025 •Anticipated Re-advertisement (Expanded Scope): Q1/Q2 2026
