- CORU is required under Article 37 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to appoint a dedicated Data Protection Officer (DPO). The DPO is a critical role in an organisation-s governance structure and must carry out their tasks and duties in an independent manner. CORU is seeking to engage the services of a DPO resource within the organisation for an initial one year contract with the option of extending the contract by 2 periods of 12 months each. The DPO services may be required initially for 2-3 days per week. It is anticipated that these services will be delivered remotely, however from time to time the successful candidate may be required to travel to CORU offices in Dublin. CORU would like to invite suitable suppliers to submit a quote for the provision of Data Protection Officer services.
