Description:
IDA Waterford Industrial Estate is located on the Cork Road c. 3km from Waterford City. The Industrial Estate has been developed on a c. 140-hectare site with c. 35 companies located on the Estate. It is now proposed to upgrade (where required) the boundary treatments around the Estate (the boundary extends to c. 7km), the boundaries comprise a variety of different fence and wall types ranging from masonry stone walls, palisade fencing and timber post and rail fencing. The appointed Engineering Consultancy Firm will carry out a review of estate boundaries to ensure correct delineation of ownership, a condition review of the boundary/ boundary treatments on the Estate and make recommendations for installation of new boundary treatments, repair/upgrade of existing boundary treatments, prepare a design and budget estimate, manage the planning permission process, the procurement of a works contractor and the construction stage.
