Description:
The development comprises the demolition of four existing astro pitches and the construction of three new astro pitches, an all-weather GAA pitch with a 5m-wide perimeter walking track, floodlighting, pedestrian routes, landscaping, and all associated site works. It also includes the demolition of the existing car park and the creation of a new access road and car park with 71 spaces (including 7 accessible), 20 per cent active and 50 per cent future EV provision. The scheme involves the partial demolition of a boiler room attached to an existing ESB substation, façade upgrades to the existing City of Dublin building, removal of Leisure Point signage, and general site and infrastructure works such as site clearance, tree removal, boundary alterations, new footpaths, and signage. Works will also enable future development under Phase 2. Total site area: approx. 18,829 sqm.
