  • Description:
  • NUI requires a resilient, redundant, standardised system that allows for the flexibility of remote working that comes with a cloud system. It must also have the security and reliability provided by both onsite and remote data backup. The tender covers the design, development, deployment, and ongoing support of an end-to-end ICT system. The system must integrate NUI-s Administration, Academic Services, CRA, Finance/HR and ICT unit functions. It must also provide secure access, ensure data integrity, and be compatible with future technological advancements. Microsoft Office 365 will have the full Microsoft security suite to include Intune and dark web monitoring within the Microsoft public cloud. These system solutions will back up to a server in the NUI Communications room. The system must include all data/database servers, Finance and HR modules, data analytics and reporting as well as user training and technical support. A phased approach can be planned which will include testing, training, initial implementation and final handover.
