  • University of Galway, School of Medicine and School of Health Sciences requires a complete IT solution for support of the Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE) to include hardware and software support for up to approximately 15 OSCE examinations (School of Medicine) and 14 OSCES examinations (School of Health Science) per academic year The current undergraduate Medical Curriculum at the School of Medicine has created a shift from traditional examination methods to patient-based examination with simulated and actual patient contact and diagnosis situations for our students. To equip our students with the necessary skills required to work on hospital wards and with patients, it was necessary to incorporate competency-based examinations including patient-centric Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE).
