Description:
The purpose of the Retail Strategy is to inform the Meath County Development Plan 2027-2037 and provide a framework to guide the development of a vibrant and competitive retail sector within the county. At local level the Retail Strategy will be prepared having regard to the county plans and strategies, along with related plans and strategies such as Town Centre First Plans, the Local Economic and Community Plan and the Economic Development Strategy Roadmap. The appointed consultants will be required to ensure that the Retail Strategy meets all requirements as set out in national and regional guidelines, plans and legislation, and considers Meath in its broader context of the Greater Dublin area and in the Dublin Belfast Economic Corridor.
