Description:
St. Vincent's University Hospital (SVUH) is a major academic teaching hospital, providing 24 hour emergency service and national/regional medical care at inpatient and outpatient level. All Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS) are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements, current regulations and standards to ensure patient and staff safety, enhance operating efficiency and minimise risk of failure. The principal objective of this tender is to procure services to maintain the Hospital-s medical gas pipeline system ensuring that the system fulfils the objective of delivering medical gas with the correct identity, pressure, quality and adequacy continuously. The Tenderer will provide complete MGPS maintenance services and the facility of a reactive maintenance service to support SVUH Estates Department. It is required under this tender that the MGPS is maintained in line with manufacturers' recommendations HTM 02-01 Part B: Operational Management or equivalent standard as a minimum. The Tenderer will provide a complete planned preventative maintenance service (PPM) and the facility of a reactive maintenance service to support SVUH Estates Department over 24/7/365 basis. The Tenderer will also be able to provide a series of associated services when required by SVUH, and in particular consultancy, surveying and engineering drawing services.
