Description:
The Qualification System comprises of six contract bands, In order to be allocated to a contract band, operators must meet minimum requirements in relation to annual turnover and operation of peak vehicles. Candidates who have qualified for entry to the System may be invited to tender for contracts in six (6) regions in Ireland for the operation of public bus services (including urban, inter-urban or stage carriage bus services). Operators may apply to be admitted to the Qualification System by completing and submitting a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) that is available at the following link (https://www.etenders.gov.ie/epps/dps/viewDPSNotices.do?resourceId=1995093). Operators may also select their preference for the geographical regions for the operation of public bus services. Forthcoming Competition The NTA wishes to advise public bus services operators of a forthcoming competition under the Qualification System. The competition is for the operation of public bus services in the towns of Ennis. The contracts require the operation of punctual and reliable public bus services at 30-minute frequency in the town. Operators will be required to provide their own depot for the duration of this contract. (The bus vehicles to operate the services may be provided by the Authority or may be required to be provided by the successful Operator).
