Description:
This competition relates to the procurement of a x1 pilot-scale decanter centrifuge and x1 disc-stack centrifuge designed to remove bulk solids from slurry and to separate fine particles and oil from the liquid phase, enabling high clarification performance for bioprocessing applications in the agri-food sector. The systems should enable efficient, continuous separation of biomass solids, fine particles, and oil from liquid streams The systems shall handle feed streams (100-1000 L/h) with varying fat/oil contents, viscosities, densities, and suspended solids of different particle sizes. They must effectively perform bulk solids removal, fine clarification, and liquid-liquid-solid separation where required. The equipment shall ensure stable operation, minimal fouling, and consistent separation of performance under variable process conditions. A well-designed and clearly defined collection system for the separated fractions must be provided. An integrated skid-mounted system shall also be supplied with the systems.
