Description:
This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) in relation to the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland-s (SEAI) Market Surveillance Authority (MSA) function, where SEAI is the MSA for Ireland in respect of the EU Ecodesign Directive, the EU Energy Labelling Regulations, and the EU Tyre Labelling Regulation. SEAI intends to appoint a service provider to provide supports in relation to the delivery of our market surveillance activities which involve: •Market screening; •Compliance promotion; •Compliance monitoring and verification (both desk-based and physical inspections); •Enforcement and investigations; •Stakeholder engagement (including meetings with industry and other stakeholders); and •Reporting. We anticipate the term will be for a maximum of four years (including all possible extensions). We intend to hold an online information meeting at 11.30am on Tuesday 11th June 2024 via Webex.
