Description:
The Health Service Executive (the “HSE”) wishes to inform the market of its upcoming procurement of software, design, build, implementation and support and maintenance for a new Information Management System (the “Project”) for CervicalCheck, National Screening Service (NSS), Ireland. Please note this is not a call for competition, no tender submissions are required at this stage of the process. This notice is for information purposes only. CervicalCheck, the national cervical screening programme in Ireland began in September 2008. It provides free cervical screening tests for approximately 1.3 million eligible women and people with a cervix who are aged between 25 and 65 years. CervicalCheck is a government funded programme with the remit of providing a population based cervical screening programme. The Project will replace the existing cervical screening register with a new system which supports every aspect of the programme, from population registration, client engagement and call, recall and failsafe invitation. In addition to these client-facing functions, the solution provides critical programme evaluation and quality assurance features that enable the NSS to publish annual operational and clinical statistics, and to plan and resource the service accordingly.
