Description:
FÍs Éireann / Screen Ireland (SI) is the national development agency for the Screen Sector investing in Talent, Creativity and Enterprise. The agency also supports and promotes the Irish film industry and the use of Ireland as a location for international production. Our role sees us directly involved in the creative process of the development and production of Irish film and other audiovisual projects. We provide investment for the development, production and distribution of Irish feature films, co-productions, feature documentaries, animation and short films.The individual or company undertaking this role will be required to work closely with the Executive and Leadership Team in the development of a regional policy for the industry. The consultant will also advise the Executive on European audiovisual polices and legislative changes and their impact on Ireland's film and television industry.
