Description:
SEAI intends to appoint a service provider to conduct a techno-economic analysis of potential pathways for decarbonising the Irish electricity sector. The study will include technical analysis of the generating system, electricity demand, transmission and distribution within the decarbonised system and economic analysis of the future system costs, the apportionment of these, and policies and reforms that may support an efficient decarbonization transition. The contract value will not exceed €1,200,000 excl. VAT. The contract term will be for a maximum of 18 months. SEAI will hold an online market engagement meeting on Friday, 06 June 2025.
