- MTU Cork is undergoing refurbishment works for the resurfacing of the existing natural grass playing pitches 6, 7 and 8 with synthetic all-weather surface and pitch floodlighting to pitch 8. These works will consist of the following works: - Removal of existing topsoil over entire pitces to a max depthof 250mm and removal from site. Construction of new all-weather pitch including drainage to pitches 6, 7 and 8 - Installation of a floodlighting system to pitch 8 only - All electrical works associated with connecting the new floodlighting to existing control panel - Associated site works including surface water storage tanks, access roadway, installation of high level ball-stop fencing and alterations to footpaths.
