Parkinson-s Ireland was established in 1987, with over 1,300 members and a network of 20 branches nationwide staffed by volunteers. The charity provides front line services, supports to members, physical activity classes, local support, national social gatherings and national information days for those living with Parkinson-s Disease (PD), care partners and other stakeholders. Parkinson-s Ireland is seeking tender applications from suitably qualified and experienced physiotherapy service providers to deliver a comprehensive and person-cantered physiotherapy program. The tender will focus on offering a range of services to our members, emphasising personalised care, effective interventions, and continuous support in our Galway/ Roscommon and Mayo branches. Parkinson's disease is a progressive neurological disorder that profoundly impacts mobility, balance, and quality of life. Physiotherapy plays a critical role in managing symptoms and improving outcomes for individuals with Parkinson's. It offers physical and psychological benefits, supporting the well-being of those affected.
