In summary, the Project involves the provision of tutors to facilitate the quality delivery of the QQI Level 5 Major Award in Sport, Recreation & Exercise Studies and ITEC Diploma in Gym Instruction at a 10 Local Training Initiatives (LTIs) facilitated by the FAI and Education and Training Boards (ETBs) in Dublin, Louth, Limerick, Cork, Waterford, and Mayo. The FAI/ETB Player Development Programmes are Local Training Initiatives (LTIs) that provide a unique blend of educational and football development for talented young footballers who are currently unemployed or have left the education system. The programme enables learners to develop a potential career in football or the sports and leisure industry.
