- The Irish Coast Guard (IRCG) is a Division of the Department of Transport (DoT) and a national emergency service. The aim of IRCG is to deliver world class search and rescue (SAR), marine casualty, and pollution response service.The current Volunteer Management System has been a valuable tool in supporting the organisation-s operations. However, to meet additional functional requirements, keep pace with technological advancements, and introduce greater automation and streamlined processes, the organisation has decided to replace the existing Volunteer Management System with a more enhanced and modernised system including a mobile device application.
