Description:
The Contracting Entity intends to procure a design, construct, install and commission contract for the replacement of the Excitation System at ESB-s CCGT (F-class) and associated electrical studies. The Excitation System, which includes Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR),Power System Stabiliser (PSS) and Power Part will work together with the Turbine Controller to ensure the generator-s output remains stable and compliant with Grid Code. It is proposed that the Contract will include (non-exhaustive list - high level scope): · Design, construct, deliver, install and commission replacement AVR/Excitation System, including PSS · Electrical Studies, including Rate of Change of Frequency (RoCoF), Fault Ride Through (FRT), Power System Stabiliser (PSS) calculation and Reactive Capability. · Dismantle and Removal of existing AVR/Excitation System and make ready for disposal. · Ensure complete integration of the new equipment into the existing plant. · Grid Code Testing support. · Supply of spares, and after sales support.
