  • This process is being conducted by the Northern Lighthouse Board on behalf of the General Lighthouse Authorities of Trinity House and The Commissioners of Irish Lights. The Aim of the Tender will be to establish a framework agreement for the supply of Solar Photovoltaic modules and It is proposed that NLB conduct a procurement for solar panels on behalf of the Tri-GLA through the open market under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015) as it promotes transparency, competition, and fairness. This opportunity defines requirements for solar photovoltaic (PV) modules. Modules will be installed on remote, unmanned stations, vessels and buoys in coastal environments to serve as the power supply for marine aids to navigation (AtoN).
