- The purpose of this Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC) is to gather information from suitably qualified Demand Response Technology and Services specialists with the capacity to design, implement, and operate advanced grid resilience solutions integrating on-site generation with flexibility markets; facilitate UL-s participation in the Capacity Market and DS3 System Services; and propose technical and commercial models that can offset installation and operational costs through grid market revenues.This consultation will assist the University in understanding available technical and commercial approaches, shaping the procurement strategy for a potential competitive tender, and identifying capable market operators with proven experience in the Irish electricity flexibility markets.
